Cub Adventures in the Wild - You’re Invited!

Join us at our Cub Scout Adventures in the Wild Day happening March 19th 8:30 am – 3 pm at our very own Firestone Camp Reservation. This great day of adventures is designed to help Cub Scouts wrap up the adventures for their current rank as the bridging season is upon us, or to kick start their journey to their next rank if they recently bridged. 2022 Annual Council Annual Dinner

The Silver Beaver Award is the council-level distinguished service award of the Boy Scouts of America. Recipients of this award are registered adult leaders who have made an impact on the lives of youth through service given to the council.
 
This year the Greater Los Angeles Area Council is hosting its 2022 Council Silver Beaver Dinner on Wednesday, March 30, 2022. Join us in celebrating a wonderful award for amazing adult volunteers. Click Here for our list of recipients, more information and registration.

The Belcher Scholarship

The Donald D. and M. Marie Belcher Charitable Foundation has established a special scholarship fund for Eagle Scouts who have plans to attend a four-year college or university following high school graduation.

AB 506 is Effective Immediately

All staff and volunteers 18 years of age or older and who have direct contact with, or supervision of, children for more than 16 hours a month or 32 hours per year must complete a Live Scan background check (the digital version of inked fingerprinting) and online mandated reporter training. Learn More

Samuel’s Eagle Project

Samuel’s Eagle Project is a 5K Walkathon advocating for Drug Awareness in teens between ages of 14-17. His project is currently sponsored by the DEA’s (Drug Enforcement Administration) Red Ribbon Patch Program and is supported by various other Law Enforcement Agencies in our local area. Mini Golf Pop-Up at Cabrillo - One Day Only!

Bring your family and friends to play 18 holes of miniature golf Sunday, March 27 at Cabrillo Beach Youth Waterfront Sports Center. Course opens at 1pm and closes at 4pm. No reservations are required–first come, first served. This is a unique opportunity for Scout families as well the general public to enjoy some family fun on our beautiful waterfront.

We are seeking nominations for recipients for the Elbert K. Fretwell Outstanding Education Award. The Fretwell Award is presented by local Scouters to teachers, educational support staff, and school administrators who stand out from their professional peers in instilling Scouting values in their students. Learn More

Scout Day - LA Giltinis vs. Utah Warriors

Sunday, March 13th at 3:00 PM
We have amazing opportunity to attend the LA Giltinis (Rugby) game on March 13, 2022! A Fascinating Look at the History of the Pinewood Derby

Tuku’ut Lodge Annual Memorabilia Show, Auction & Trade-O-Ree

Where: Cushman-Watt Scout Center
When: March 4th 2022 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM; March 5th 2022; doors open at 8:00 AM
Who: All Scouts and Scouters, come on down!
Why: All proceeds of the Trade-O-Ree will benefit Tuku’ut Lodge. What: Memorabilia Show, TOR and Auction is a place where all can come to look at Scouting memorabilia displays, as well as buy, sell and trade patches and other memorabilia.
